Pamela is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Play Therapist and MN MFT Board Approved Supervisor. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Community Psychology and Post Masters: Marriage and Family Therapy and Play Therapy from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. She works with all age groups including birth to five years old and has been trained in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Circle of Security (COS), Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and Love and Logic. Pamela's therapeutic approaches focus on parent-child relationships, trauma, attachment, play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and client centered therapy. 

George H. Herzog, Jr., BCD, DCSW, ACSW
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
 
George is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota with practice certifications from The National Association of Social Workers and The American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work.  He holds a Masters of Social Work Degree from the Ohio State University and has practiced previously in Ohio and North Dakota.  He has worked with adults, families and children in the mental health field since 1979 in day treatment, residential treatment, and outpatient settings.  He has also worked in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, supervised county mental and chemical health and child protection services, and practices family and divorce mediation and trains mediators.  He is an expert in cognitive-emotive, cognitive-behavioral, brief therapy, psychodynamic, hynotherapy, relationship, motivation, martial and systems treatment methods.  His current practice focuses on the treatment of emotional, behavior, marital, family, child and adolescent, and serious and persistent mental health problems and their related chemical and physical/medical health issues.  He is happily married, is a cancer survivor, and loves his dog.
 
 
Susan G. Holmen, MSW, BCCR
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
 
Susan G. Holmen, MSW, LICSW, BCCR, has over 28 years of experience in counseling, public speaking, program development and training.  She received training in substance abuse counseling at the University of Minnesota and completed a Master of Soical Work degree at Louisiana State University.  She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and a Board Certified Counselor, Reciprocal (a national substance abuse counseling credential).

Ms. Holmen has worked as a psychotherapist and program coordinator in Minnesota, Louisiana and North Carolina.  She was a national trainer with the CMI Education Institute, providing a day-long seminar on substance abuse to other professionals.

Using a client-centered approach, Susan uses her own experience as an evolving human to engage clients and make the therapy experience meaningful and effective.  Susan uses an eclectic approach in her work, incorporating different therapy models.  These include: family systems theory, communications theory, 12-step and addiction models, motivational interviewing, brief therapy and cognitive therapy.  She also utilizes alternative therapies, including guided imagery, mediation and artwork.  Her areas of specialty are: addictions and addictive behaviors, relationship dynamics, codependency/self-esteem, family of origin issues, work-related issues, coping with chronic illness/pain, grief and loss and spirituality.

Kelsey Landis, LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Kelsey is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her Master of Science degree from St. Cloud State University.   She has experience working in an intensive outpatient day treatment setting with children, adolescents and their families.  

Kelsey specializes in working with individuals, couples, children, adolescents and families.  She works collaboratively with individuals to help them use their inner wisdom to uncover the challenges that block them from reaching their full potential.  She focuses on helping individuals discover and understand how their own thoughts and feelings influence their ability to cope with life stressors.

Kelsey draws her therapeutic approach from an array of treatment models. The most frequently used models include family systems, cognitive behavioral, narrative, solution focused and structural therapy.  She believes that individuals are able to help themselves and achieve a healthy functioning level when they have new knowledge, insight and skills they can use. 

                      


Sara L. Shosted, LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
 

Sara Shosted is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who graduated from Adler Graduate School. She worked previously for a nonprofit company providing intensive in-home and outpatient therapy before starting in private practice.

Sara has focused her practice on working with adolescents and young adults through individual, family and couples counseling. Sara has a unique ability to build rapport and an important connection with clients at different stages of readiness for change. Sara has learned that it is important to support and encourage clients to move forward in their life path by using their mind, body and spiritual strengths. Sara's current treatment approaches include cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy and insight oriented therapy.

                    

Jason P. McCarty, Psy.D.

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. McCarty is a Licensed Psychologist. He earned his doctorate at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology and has worked in varied settings including hospitals, community metal health, college counseling, and other non-profit social service agencies. He works with age groups from adolescence through adulthood, and will see clients individually or in family counseling. 

It is Dr. McCarty's goal to collaborate with clients to find improvements in mental health and well-being and he can work with most disorders or difficulties that lead people to seek counseling. His treatment approach integrates aspects from a range of therapeutic models such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, brief counseling, client-centered, dialectical-behavior therapy, mind-body medicine, and psychodynamic theory.
